About Bayswater Sharpening and Our History

Ken was first introduced to the sharpening industry in the mid 90’s when he decided to make the shift into some lighter work. At the time, he was doing some work where sharp tools were essential. One of Ken’s friends encouraged him to turn his new-found passion and hobby into a business. He then spent many years training with specialists in the industry, where he developed his own style using their technique. Over the years he has gained a lot of experience and developed a very nice sharpening code. Ken has always been an extremely hard worker and always strives for the best result. He takes pride in everything that he does, to ensure maximum life of your tools.

At Bayswater Sharpening, our sharpening methods consist of a mix between hand and machinery sharpening. All our machines are manually controlled, which requires a lot of human involvement to ensure everything is prefect. All items are finished by hand to get the finer edge and better result. We are Queensland’s premier sharpening business for doing scissors, knives, and clipper blades.
